Hakama-dome

The hakama-dome (also called hera) is a small toggle typically attached to the koshi-ita on the inside of the hakama. It is tucked into the top of the obi to keep the back of the hakama from sagging. Traditionally the hakama-dome was made from bone. Today, most hakama-dome are made from plastic.
